Hello! My name is Anuraag Jha and I am a tutor at Learning Tree Loft. I’m currently in my third year at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Human Biology. As you would expect, subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics are my favorite! The sciences have always been a long-term passion and interest of mine, along with mathematics, which is why I am so excited to offer tutoring to ensure that students receive the education they deserve.
After successfully working my way through high school, and currently through college, I am well equipped with the skills necessary to help students succeed and overcome their perceived academic shortcomings. I have tutored several students in the past, as well as helped many of my peers in high school and college for as long as I can remember. I love teaching and helping students understand concepts that were intimidating or challenging at first!
I am a firm believer in the importance of allowing students to critically think and guide them to an answer without giving it to them right away. The best way for a student to know if they have mastered the material is to try to teach it back to me, which is the goal eventually. I am very patient and can very well adapt to the needs of every student. I am more than willing to help with conceptual learning, test preparation, homework, or even counseling/directing for life after high school!
I want to help you exceed your academic expectations, and I am so excited to be a part of your learning experience!
